Overview of Oysters

Oysters are mollusks belonging to the bivalve family, similar to clams, mussels, and snails. They primarily live in coastal areas, rocky reefs, or river mouths. Nutritionally, oysters are considered a rich source of essential nutrients and are highly beneficial for health.

In Japan, oysters are often enjoyed raw or prepared as sashimi. In Vietnam, they are cooked in various ways such as grilled with scallion oil, stir-fried, or used in porridge.

Due to their rugged, sharp, and hard shells, preparing oysters can be quite challenging. Using regular knives or spoons to open them can be difficult and dangerous. That’s why a dedicated oyster knife was developed — to make the task safer and more efficient.

Enduring Quality Over Time

For over 60 years since its creation, this oyster knife has remained unchanged — simply because it has perfectly fulfilled its intended purpose.

The blade is made from high-quality rust-resistant SUS410 stainless steel, while the handle is crafted from natural oak wood with a gentle color tone, offering a firm and non-slip grip. For added user safety, a protective bolster is placed between the blade and the handle to prevent accidental slips when applying strong force.

Available in two lengths, so you can choose the size that best suits your personal preference.
